Thank you for visiting our website! Whether you are investigating the claims of Jesus Christ for the first time, looking for a church home, or just surfing the Internet, we hope this site will encourage you and help you to know more about our congregation.

We meet for Sunday School and worship at Algood Elementary School, right next to Algood Middle School. Enter the parking lot off of Old Walton Road.

Our church is committed to the ordinary means of grace: the Word, the sacraments, prayer, and fellowship. Through these, God is at work in our midst, and I am so thankful for the privilege of being one of His tools. I encourage you to come worship with us on Sunday mornings and evenings; I have just started preaching through I Thessalonians in the morning, and I’m finishing up Nehemiah in the evenings. You can listen to past sermons here. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday morning, and the third Sunday evening. Our “Grace Groups” are a great source of encouragement and fellowship – check them out here! To facilitate our ministry of gathering and growing the saints, our new building on Burton Branch Road is almost completed! Come join us as we seek to glorify Him together!
